Duluth restaurants are a wonderful way to get a taste of what this area has to offer.

We are lucky here to have such a wide variety of dining options. From an "amazing" sandwich at Amazing Grace to a fine gourmet meal along the North Shore at the New Scenic Cafe, there is something for everyone in beautiful Duluth, MN! For a more detailed list of restaurants, go to Visit Duluth.

  • New Scenic Cafe features Whole World Foods, beautifully created from the best ingredients - including a great selection of fish and meat dishes, along with many vegetarian options. Dessert specialties are made fresh daily. Reservations suggested. (218-525-6274)
  • Nokomis Restaurant menu selections range from the classics to new cuisine. Menus change often to capture the best of what is seasonal, fresh, and (often) local. Nokomis takes pride in preparing and presenting food that pleases both eye and palate. The dining room and bar provide panoramic views of Lake Superior, and the fireplace makes for cozy dining.   • Boat House Restaurant in Superior is quickly establishing a great reputation for intimate waterside dining featuring fresh Lake Superior fish and a fine assortment of regional foods. Just take a quick hop over the High Bridge to Wisconsin on US 53 and turn left at Barker's Island. (715-399-0076)
  • Black Woods Grill is a great option if you're looking for a deliciously diverse menu and easy to reach location after a long drive. Our more ambitious guests enjoy the scenic seven block walk. Just remember it's all uphill coming home! (218-724-1612)
  • Bellisio's Italian Restaurant is a top recommendation for fine dining. One of our guests from Italy described the food as the best she's had outside her home country. Bellisio's was featured in Wine Spectator on account of its exceptional wine list. Reservations suggested. (218-727-4921)
  • Fitger's Brewhouse, Duluth's only brew pub offers award-winning, handcrafted beers and tasty fare in a friendly smoke-free pub atmosphere. The vegetarian wild rice burger is highly recommended. (218-726-1392)
  • India Palace was voted the best Indian restaurant in Minnesota by readers of Minnesota Monthly. It offers a variety of dishes for all tastes, from lamb to vegetarian, mild to spicy. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for a wonderful ethnic alternative. (218-727-8767)
  • Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake offers made-to-order sandwiches and Duluth's widest selection of beers (200+) from throughout the world. Nightly music and optional outdoor dining further distinguish this popular local hangout. (218-728-1192)
  • The Pickwick is Duluth's oldest family owned restaurant. Noted for burgers, steaks, and fantastic onion rings, it also serves up great walleye (order the half portion unless you're REALLY hungry). The original dark woodwork is quite stunning. (218-727-8901)
  • Amazing Grace Bakery & Cafe located in the Dewitt Seitz Marketplace is one of Duluth's best for an amazing sandwich, bowl of soup, or latte. Besides the great food, you'll enjoy the flavor of the place taking you back to a more relaxed and "cool" time. You may even get lucky and get to enjoy the music. (218-723-0075)
  • VaBene Berarducci's Caffe is a wonderful spot along the Duluth Lakewalk with fresh Italian food in a casual and friendly atmosphere. You can dine in, take out, or shop for specialty Italian groceries. (218-722-1518)
  • Valentini's Vicino Lago is one of Duluth's newest in Italian fare. It is located conveniently along London Road near the Leif Erickson Park and the Rose Garden. (218-728-5900)
