Breakfast at the A.G. Thomson House, a Minnesota bed and breakfast inn, is anything but common, making our B&B a unique vacation destination.
At the A.G. Thomson House, breakfast is inspired by warm conversation, new friendships, and a delicious, beautiful beginning to another great day in Duluth. We offer a sumptuous, homemade, multi-course breakfast for you to savor beginning at 9:00 am served in our inviting, sun-drenched dining room.
Our multi-course, candlelit breakfast is prepared and served individually in our spacious, yet cozy, bright and intimate dining room. You may pre-arrange the delivery of a continental breakfast to your room (excludes Upper Carriage House rooms; North Shore Retreat and Brule River Retreat). If possible, we may also be able to offer delivery of a full breakfast for an additional fee (excludes the Upper Carriage House rooms; North Shore Retreat and Brule River Retreat). We will be happy to discuss these options prior to arrival.
Our dining room offers unique seating for a large group or an intimate breakfast with your special someone. We will serve one of our two special blends of locally roasted, fair trade Alakef Coffee uniquely designed and blended just for the A.G. Thomson House. You may also enjoy an assortment of fine teas, hot chocolate, and apple cider. Coffee and hot water will be available on the buffet in the dining room by 7:00 am.
We are always striving to exceed our guests' expectations, and we are continually searching for new, delicious, and unique recipes. We are also pleased and challenged to accommodate special dietary needs whenever possible. If you have a special request or need, please let us know in advance of your arrival so we can offer our very best to you. Whether you are a vegetarian, vegan, gluten or lactose intolerant; we will make every effort to make your breakfast special!
