HISTORY & CULTURE
Tour Glensheen, a 7.6 acre estate built between 1905-08 by Chester A. Congdon. Glensheen resembles an English, early 17th century country estate. The handcarved woodwork is phenomenal, and beautiful formal gardens dot the grounds. It still appears much the way it did when the Congdon family lived there, with many original furnishings and artwork. (218-726-8910 or 888-454-4536)
